CELEBRATING OUR WOODLAND HERITAGE CONFERENCE
16-18 November 2018

University of Bradford

The School of Archaeological and Forensic Sciences at the University of Bradford, and Pennine Prospects, are hosting a two and a half day conference, bringing together researchers and practitioners to discuss recent progress in understanding the various roles of woodland, trees and woodland products in landscapes, and social and economic systems in the past. 

 

The call for papers is open.  We invite contributions from community archaeology, landscape survey, archaeobotany, palynology, historical geography, social and economic history and beyond. Interdisciplinary studies are particularly welcome.  Please send titles and abstract for papers (max 250 words) to [log in to unmask] by 22 June 2018. The deadline for poster presentations is 16 October 2018.
