Dear UK list members,

Please keep this date for your diary!

The ACB National Clinical Biochemistry Audit Group is holding the annual National Audit Meeting on 7th September 2018 at York Road Education Centre, 75-79 York Road, London SE17NJ (St Thomas' Hospital) in London.

The programme is still in development, with speakers being confirmed, but there will be Clinical presentations to complement the two National Audit presentations on the use of Troponin and the National survey on Laboratory Investigation of Calculated Globulin. Once finalised the programme will be advertised widely.

Also there is an opportunity to submit an abstract for this meeting. These will be considered for both oral and/or poster presentation at this forthcoming National Audit meeting. In addition we are trying to secure the publication of the top 10 abstracts. If you do not wish your abstract to be considered for oral presentation, please indicate on the e-mail. Abstracts will be selected on the basis of current topic of interest and impact. A typical format for an audit abstract is shown in the attached document. Presenters must be registered delegates at the meeting and should normally be the lead author of the audit. Presentation of audits at a recent meeting, such as Focus 2018, is not a bar to submitting to this meeting. Full details of the programme will be available shortly on the ACB website. Please e-mail your abstract to: [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> by 5.00pm Tuesday 5th June 2018.

best wishes, Lou
