TEG Partnership Agreement WorkshopRoyal Society of Sculptors, London13 June 2016
The TEG Partnership Agreement Workshop focuses on how to devise an agreement for a projects that involves the collaboration of two or more partners, to develop and deliver a collaborative exhibition, event or programme. Aimed at managers, the workshop uses TEG's template partnership agreement as its starting point and looks at:
   
   - The characteristics of a successful partnership   

   - How to prepare before starting to make an agreement   

   - Different ways to reach an agreement   

   - The key content that an agreement should include   

   - How agreements may vary   

   - How using an agreement can helpfully inform working practices   

   - The workshop will increase the confidence of participants to work in partnership and negotiate key areas of the agreement. It is also an opportunity to network with other professionals interested in touring exhibitions and partnership work.

aximising and Managing Public Object Handling Opportunities Workshop

The TEG Tactile Access to Collections workshop combines practical and theoretical activities to help you develop opportunities for the delivery of tactile access to your collections. You will learn:
   
   - The benefits derived from handling objects   

   - An overview of approaches to object handling employed in organisations of a range of scales/types   

   - How accessioned collections can be safely used in a public object handling programme, including how to assess their suitability and restrictions for use   

   - An introduction to policies and procedures that can support the effective provision of tactile access   

   - How to plan a meaningful engagement opportunities involving object handling, using a session development matrix, learning theory and examples of good practice from other organisations   

   - Confidence to facilitate tactile access to your collections, and implement a robust structure for managing an object handling programme   

The workshop is suited to curatorial and learning staff who are interested to create/develop opportunities and an infrastructure for the public to handle objects from their collections.
