Dear all,

A conference has been organised as an extension of the work of the ROTA
Study Group on (combatting) Institutional racism. No speakers as such
(except for welcomes) so be prepared to participate in discussions - not
just listen! The aim is to work on how Institutional Racism in the MH
services (including Psychiatry and Clinical Psychology) can be counteracted
via legal changes.

On Friday 1st June 2018, there will be a conference on 'The Mental Health
Act Review and Institutional Racism' hosted by UEL (University of East
London) and ROTA (Race on the Agenda). There is no registration fee and
places are limited. If you register in time and then find you cannot make
it, please make sure you let us know so that the place can be offered to
someone else.
