The LaSE NHS Libraries Staff Development Group have organised a series of free visits open to anyone with an interest in the healthcare information sector
ˇ For anyone working on CILIP Chartership or similar, the visits will help you to explore the wider library, information and knowledge sector context and to learn from best practice in other organisations
ˇ or if you are planning on making changes to the décor of your library in the near future, come along and be inspired!

“The Emily Wilding Davison Building first opened its doors on 13 September just before the start of the 2017/2018 academic year. The striking building encompasses a state-of-the-art Library, Student Services Centre and Careers & Employability service. At the heart of the new building is the library space, offering fantastic resources and services, and inspiring areas designed to support different types of study. The Library is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, has an extensive collection of over 400,000 books and a wide variety of spaces for people to use from collaborative areas to individual study pods and group study rooms. The visit will include a tour of the library and time for questions/discussion”
