Sharing the Legacy conference -
Call for Submissions now open!
A Call for Submissions for the fifth Valletta 2018 conference, titled Sharing the Legacy, is now open. The conference is to be held on 24th-26th October 2018 in Valletta, Malta.
Sharing the Legacy encourages broad reflection on the central issues that define urban life by channeling its discussion through the basic question of "What makes a city better?". This concept develops discussions held at previous Valletta 2018 conferences, particularly on the themes of well-being and happiness of residents, participation in cultural and reactive life, urban development, and social and environmental sustainability, amongst others.
These issues will be discussed under the banner of four main thematic areas:
Submissions are being received until Thursday 29th March. Proposals that address various forms of presentations, including performative, artistic, or academic interventions are encouraged.
