Thank you,

I had missed this interesting discussion.

My interest has been in poetry as research and therapy:
poetry quoted in research;
 research written in poetry;
and poetic enquiry as research, and
Poetry as a distinct way of knowing and not as a tool or vehicle of other types of research.,
and how poetry works as a therapeutic process.

Kind regards,

Brian

Thanks for the comment Brian – there’s a great discussion in the comments section of the blog addressing exactly this issue (http://i2insights.org/2018/01/16/arts-based-knowledge-translation/), that you and others might enjoy reading and maybe even contributing to.

Best wishes

Gabriele

Subject: Re: An arts-based knowledge translation planning framework

Interesting framework, but could it be conceived as a bit technicist rather than arts based?

Arts based is a different paradigm?

An arts-based knowledge translation planning framework

1. Identify goals & target audiences, 2. Choose art genres, mediums & methods, 3. Build partnerships with artists, 4. Trace dissemination & impact. Arts can reach & engage diverse audiences. Feedback welcome! See the great new blog post by Tiina Kukkonen and Amanda Cooper at http://i2insights.org/2018/01/16/arts-based-knowledge-translation/
