UWE Bristol is seeking a Field External Examiner in the field of Visual Culture
. Please see attached advert for further information.
Field External Examiners are subject/professional practice experts appointed with responsibility for a specified group of modules within a named field. Some modules which
sit within the field of study may be delivered by a partner institution. Their role is to contribute to discussions on the comparability of standards set at the subject/module level. This is facilitated by ensuring assessments are conducted in accordance with
the approved regulations or variant regulations (if appropriate). Furthermore by verifying the rigour, consistency and fairness of assessment in the context of the aims and objectives set for the field within the module specifications, the assessment criteria
and assessment requirements.
