I am interested for any suggestions or recommendations on the following 3 points. Please reply directly to me, rather than on the list; but I’m happy to share the information with anyone who is interested. 1. Scanner maintenance: names of any companies you would recommend for specialist scanner maintenance contracts (both hardware and software)? We have several different scanners and would like to get one company to maintain all of them. The scanners include Kodak i4250 (Kodak Capture Pro software), C-400 Aperture card scanner (Wicks & Wilson software), Colotrac large plan scanner (SmartWorks Pro software), Kiosk book scanner (Book Expert software). 2. Records Management ICT systems: names of the recommended software and suppliers for ICT systems to help manage paper records? I.e. a database / system where we would store lists of records, accession details, file request details, disposal dates (including automatic triggers when records are due for disposal). So basically a system to store details of all the paper records we hold in one place, and offer a more automated way of managing records. Similar to CALM, which seems to be used more for Archives than Records Management. 3. Mobile shelving companies: aside from Link 51, any names of recommended suppliers of mobile shelving? Any help would be much appreciated.
