Dear colleagues, SEGD (Society for Experiential Graphic Design) invites submissions for the 2018 Academic Summit to be held on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Submission deadline: March 2, 2018 CFP: https://segd.org/sites/default/files/2018-segd-academic-summit-call-for-papers.pdf Potential papers should address the educational, institutional, technological, social, and cultural issues that have relevance to Experiential Graphic Design (XGD), which encompasses environmental graphic and information design, exhibition design, wayfinding and signage design, branding, interactive and immersive environments, and technology integration. Timeline: March 2 - Paper Abstract Submissions April 6 - Paper Acceptance Notifications May 25 - Full Manuscripts with Images/Diagrams June 1 - Final Presentation File Submissions June 6 - Academic Summit Presentation Submissions should be anonymized (author names and affiliations removed) for purposes of peer review. Papers selected for presentation on June 6 will also be published in SEGD’s online research journal, Communication + Place<https://segd.org/academic-design-research>.
