Dear all

Following on from my previous email about the Carnival of Invention (below), a few people have pointed out that there is an error with the hyperlink.  This is something weird to do with our email security settings!  The url is accurate, so if the clickable link isn’t working for you, please just put this web address manually into your browser:  https://blogs.brighton.ac.uk/carnivalofinvention/

Subject: Carnival of Invention, Art and Research for Social Action

Dear all

I am pleased to announce that the Collaborative Poetics Network will be hosting a Carnival of Invention on Friday June 15th 2018 at the University of Brighton.  The event will feature performances, debates, discussion, presentations, workshops, networking events and more from academics, artists and community practitioners - with representatives from *all* of these groups leading sessions.  The focus of the event is on discussing, performing and learning about collaborative and participatory arts-based research and artistic interventions which aim for social change/social justice.

We are keeping the conference fees as low as possible to encourage widespread participation (with early bird fees of £25 covering all conference events and lunch).  Please put the date in your diaries, consider submitting a proposal and share the call/conference widely amongst your networks. (Conference registrations aren't open yet, but we are accepting submissions for sessions from now.)

You can find more information, including the call for submissions, on our website: https://blogs.brighton.ac.uk/carnivalofinvention/
