The 6th Intensive Course on Shia Islamic Studies

The University of Religions and Denominations (Qom, Iran) is pleased to offer the 6th intensive course on Shi'a Islamic Studies to be held from 20th to 28th February 2018.

The program comprises of 3 parts as follow:

·  Academic Workshop: Provides 32 hours of supported academic lectures and discussions within 6 days each covers a special theme of Shi’a Doctrines, Shi’a Rituals, Shi’a Ethics and Mysticism, Shi’a Authority and Political Thought, Shi’a and Contemporary Challenges in Iran.

·  Social Program: Provides the best of Qom in the spare time. From unmissable sightseeing of Holy Shrine and Jamkaran Mosque to the Imam Khomeini’s house and meeting with Grand Ayatollahs of Hawza, the social program is considered to be an enriching adventure to complement the academic course.

·  Cultural Tour: Provides a unique chance to follow in pilgrims’ footsteps and explore the history of old Persia and the spirit of the new Iran.

The whole program is accredited by the University of Religions and Denominations (URD). 

The Visa sponsorship will be provided for all confirmed applicants by URD. All faculty, students and researchers are invited to apply.
