The postholder will be responsible for the strategic direction and leadership of a small team, and will lead on planning specialist interventive care across the collections, developing collection care policies, devising funding bids and overseeing a digitisation programme to help maximise access to a range of heritage material both physically and digitally. An excellent communicator and problem solver, the postholder will also participate in promoting the collections within the University and in the wider academic and public community.

This is a full time permanent position (salary range: £34,520 - £38,833).

With excellent organisational skills and a high degree of motivation, the postholder will repair and prepare a range of rare books, printed and manuscript, dating from the 12th century onwards.
