Hi Anupa,

By "z" I think you mean a type of effect measure in relation to some type of dispersion measure. What is the effect you're trying to find and in relation to what dispersion?

Alternatively, what are you trying to do? Depending on what, maybe a z score isn't needed...

All the best,

I used MELODIC ICA to identify the DMN networks in two groups, viz, patients and controls. This was followed by a dual regression analysis and z-maps (FWE corrected, p<0.05) were generated

I would like to know how to extract the mean z- values for each subject from the individual DMN z-maps?

May I know how to obtain those values? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.
