How about showing the comments on a map? There are already two maps on the site (photos, migration), memories could make a third. Most of the comments reference place names, which are easy to pick out, so it should be possible to automate the map/placemark generation for the bulk of them.An easy shortcut would be generating a geoRSS feed from the comments for google maps (https://developers.google.com/maps/documentation/javascript/examples/layer-georss), or geoJSON for open street maps (http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/GeoJSON).Cheers, Marcus

Subject: [MCG] “Memory Book”: suggestions pleaseHi allOne of our clients has got a lovely photo archive, and as part of this are gathering loads of “memory book” comments:As you can see, good levels of engagement here - but it’s obviously now getting a bit unwieldy. My gut feel is that something more complicated like a forum isn’t right: the comments don’t feel conversational to me, more 1-way - but can anyone think of a better way of displaying these or allowing people to browse them? At the moment it’s just by date. We can of course paginate, but anything else spring to mind?cheers in advance :-)Mike
