Dear colleagues,

I want to ask a big favour from all the members of Zooarch. I've entered the 2017 Australian Peer Prize for Women in Science and I need the support of the zooarchaeology community. This is an annual prize for women researchers across Australia with a mission to accelerate open knowledge exchange and cross-disciplinary innovation. The competition closes soon, June 16, and you'll need to register to vote, which takes about 24 hours (and they have strict guidelines).

This is the first time that zooarchaeology (and archeology) has been represented, so it's a great chance to highlight some of the research being done by our discipline.

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate your support,
Jillian
