The research field of the team is in vivo biomedical magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). Our aims are the development, the validation and the application of in vivo MRI methods in the field of the clinical, biological and cognitive neuroscience. We develop new physiological and functional imaging tools, develop innovative imaging biomarkers and based on MRI, evaluate advanced therapeutic strategy.

Starting from structural, functional and perfusion MR data obtained from controls and de novo (early stage of the disease) Parkinsonian patients, the PhD candidate will be responsible for the extraction of statistical patterns to define specific signatures attached to the pathology. This work will be conducted in close collaboration with the Inria Mistis team (https://www.inria.fr/equipes/mistis).

We are looking for a student motivated by a PhD with good skills in data and image processing, statistics and programming language (mainly Matlab and R). Experience with neuroimaging processing will be valuable. Interest for Human vision and Neurosciences.
