For any laboratories currently performing specific IgG testing using the ImmunoCAP platforms: Some of you will be aware there are production problems with Thermo Scientific's ImmunoCAP Ge90 (budgie mix) and Ge91 (pigeon mix) reagents that will not be resolved for at least a few months (June 2017 at the earliest we have been told). If anyone requires an alternative service in the meantime, at Carlisle we offer Ig precipitin testing for both budgie and pigeon components (by counter current immunoelectrophoresis method). Feel free to contact either myself or Gail Wager ([log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]>) for further details if required.
