Dear Vadim,
Thank you so much. Since the scholar is from Belgrade, I may try Branka Vranesevic first, as she may well know of the monastery.
With deep appreciation for your suggestions,
Darrelyn

Perhaps, you can address your request to Alexei Lidov who is, to my mind, one of the excellent reviewers for this text. At least he may suggest a suitable reviewer.

medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture
Dear All,
I wonder if there are any kind medieval art historians on this list specialising in Byzantine images who would be willing to do a blind peer review for me for a volume of conference proceedings? The paper is entitled:
'An examination of the images of the Sun and the Moon in the Visoki Dečani monastery in Kosovo' and here is the abstract:
Abstract: This paper investigates the celestial-religious images in the Visoki Dečani monastery in Kosovo, with the focus on the images in The Crucifixion of Christ fresco. The images in the freco, containing human figures, have been the subject of controversy. While Erich von Däniken claimed that the images containing figures, in what appeared to be aerodynamic vehicles, were proof of the extra-terrestrial visit to Earth, these images have been mostly ignored in academic circles. Those images were compared with similar images from other Serbian medieval churches and the conclusion was that they presented personifications of the Sun and the Moon.
Many thanks,
Darrelyn Gunzburg
