Dear colleagues, An opportunity has arisen for a qualified librarian to join a successful NHS Library team at the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton, Warwickshire. The post of Librarian is AFC Band 5, 37.5 hours (Monday to Friday) and is a permanent contract. The post holder will support the provision of library services at George Eliot Hospital NHS Trust, including purchasing and cataloguing appropriate information resources, providing literature searches and information skills training and developing relationships with hospital departments as appropriate. The post holder will work closely with other library and Trust colleagues to support and promote evidence based health care and deputise for the Library Services Manager. The post-holder will need experience of libraries and be willing to work towards CILIP Chartership. Flexibility in following up opportunities and the ability to supervise a team are also required.
