I don't as yet but I am thinking of charging to cover resources and volunteer subsistence, on the basis I am here anyway so don't need covering.  If you are using freelancers, unless they are very forgiving, you should probably get back enough to cover what you have agreed to pay them as they may well have turned down other work to be with you and will lose a day's earnings.  The same also goes for booked 0-hours employees, I guess.


A bit waffly, I am afraid, and how you word your 'contract' with the school will have to be done very carefully, I guess

Does anyone else charge a fee if booked groups cancel at the last minute, how much and do you usually recover it?  Grateful for any info!
