Plan, execute and interpret statistical analysis of clinical trials

A new accredited short course part of the Postgraduate Evidence-Based Health Care programme

This course in practical statistics for clinical trials covers protocol development and statistical analysis planning, statistical methods for testing for differences and estimating effect sizes, and the presentation and interpretation of results. 

This course is led by an experienced, senior statistician who is also deputy director of an accredited clinical trials unit in Oxford.

An intensive week of classroom teaching and computer practical exercises is supplemented by additional weeks of distance learning to teach practical statistical skills for clinical trials.
