medieval-religion: Scholarly discussions of medieval religion and culture

Could anyone help me with bibliography on forms of participation in
decision-making in the medieval period (13th century and earlier)? I'm
thinking especially of capitular decisions in monastic and mendicant
communities, but other procedures would also be of interest, e.g. the
election of church officials, nomination of bishops, etc.

I know of

   Y.M. Congar. “Quod omnes tangit, ab omnibus tractari et approbari
debet.” *Revue historique de droit français et étranger* 35 (1958): 210–59;
   Jean Gaudemet. *Les élections dans l’église latine des origines au XVIe
siècle.* Paris: Editions Fernand Lanore, 1979;
    David Knowles. *From Pachomius to Ignatius: A Study in the
Constitutional History of the Religious Orders.* Oxford: Clarendon Press,
1966; and
    L. Moulin, “*Sanior et maior pars*: Note sur l’évolution des techniques
électorales dans les Ordres religieux du VIe au XIIIe siècle.” *Revue
historique de droit français et étranger* 35 (1958): 368–97.

and I'm sure I once had references to other substantial (and more recent)
articles, but I can't find them any more. Any help much appreciated. -- Paul
