From my work with SEDA in the early days of their Teacher Accreditation scheme I recall Brighton with Liz Beaty and Exeter with Jessica Clarridge had very early Schemes. I think Plymouth was close behind. Oxford Brookes must have been in the mix too.

Funnily enough I would have put the Plymouth one at 1992 as well - although it may not have been a PGCert then... before my time though!

When did the Cert at Brighton start? I began it in 1995 and it had been up and running for a few years by then

Dear colleagues,

Thank you so much to all who replied so far to my PgCert question.

I have summarised your responses in the following spreadsheet. Please feel free to add further information about the specific programmes and other once that might not be there yet. So far, the Teeside PgCert seems to be the earliest PgCert.

Thank you all for responding to my call for help.
