Hi GEM land On Wednesday we are launching a Listening Safari called Sounding out Greenwich and we are on the look out for fun accessories and prompts that we can encourage participants to get listening more conscientiously. I have managed to borrow four stethoscopes (the original contact mic) - but wondered if Gemmers had suggestions for other (in)appropriate hearing aids? http://www.museumofwalking.org.uk/events/sense-safari/sounding-out-greenwich/ A couple of tin cans connected by a taught string, a listening tube to amplify the noises from the drains, a Fold your Own ear trumpet (I made that one up), a glass tumbler for listening to what the neighbours are saying - I know you will think of things. Many thanks, A ANDREW STUCK Managing Director Rethinking Cities Ltd 07725555460 [log in to unmask] http://www.rethinkingcities.net @RethinkCities 2015/6 Scholar - Innovation, Creativity & Leadership - City University-Cass Business School, London Producer - Talking Walking http://www.talkingwalking.net Founding Director of the Museum of Walking http://www.museumofwalking.org.uk @museumofwalking + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + GEM list: Contact the list owner for assistance at [log in to unmask] For information about joining, leaving and suspending mail (eg during a holiday) see the list website at https://www.jiscmail.ac.uk/cgi-bin/webadmin?A0=GEM + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + + +
