Women in Data Science event: 7 December 2016
A Women in Data Science event is being held at the Isaac Newton Institute on Wednesday 7 December within the New Developments in Data Privacy <http://www.newton.ac.uk/event/dlaw03> workshop, part of the current INI programme on Data Linkage and Anonymisation<http://www.newton.ac.uk/event/dla>.
Researchers in the field of data science are invited to apply to attend this event which showcases the work of experts in the field.
There will be talks by the following:

  *   Prof Sheila Bird (Medical Research Council)
  *   Prof Cynthia Dwork (Microsoft Research and Harvard)
  *   Prof Yulia Gel (University of Texas at Dallas)
  *   Prof Anna Oganyan (National Center for Health Statistics and Georgia Southern University)
  *   Prof Christina O'Keefe (Commonwealth and Industrial Research Organisation and University of Adelaide)

There will also be a Panel Session with panelists including:

  *   Prof Sheila Bird (Medical Research Council)
  *   Prof Cynthia Dwork (Microsoft Research and Harvard)
  *   Prof Sofia Olhede (UCL)
  *   Dr Carola-Bibiane Schonlieb (Cantab Capital Institute for Mathematics of Information, University of Cambridge)
  *   Prof Natalie Shlomo (University of Manchester)

The fees for attending this event are as follows: Registration fee including lunch, tea/coffee, and a wine reception: £33.
