There are a host of sessions, practical workshops and training - all developed to facilitate fresh thinking. Special events and tours will also give you the opportunity to see more of Glasgow. Keynote speakers include: * Jackie Kay, Scots Makar (national poet) * Oonagh Aitken, chief executive of Volunteering Matters * Alexandre Fernandes and Luiz Alberto Oliveira, Museum of Tomorrow in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil * David Fleming, MA president and director of National Museums Liverpool A third day has been added to conference this year with a programme of special events, exhibition tours, expert talks and behind-the-scenes visits to Glasgow's museums galleries and cultural venues.
