RCN: The Krypton(ish) Factor
A history of nursing gameshow with a twist
Thursday 28 July, 6-8pm

Have you wondered why there was no retro quiz show with a nursing focus? Or felt that the history of nursing was tragically missing from the pub quiz circuit?

Well, fret no more! As part of our Centenary event series, the Royal College of Nursing brings you our own version of the Krypton Factor, in which teams of contestants will puzzle their way through general knowledge, medical history and practical challenges to be crowned Centenary Champions.

From the 1970s, the RCN’s Trevor Clay championed the use of TV and the media in promoting nursing issues. So what better decade to return to than the era of Monty Python and On the Buses, when every kid wanted a Chopper and cheese and pineapple on sticks was the norm at any party?

No prior nursing experience necessary: though it may be an advantage in some activities. Rounds include general knowledge, ‘Who’s that nurse?’ and activity sessions.

Book for free in teams of 4-6. Nibbles and one free bottle of wine provided for every team. Arrive from 5.45 for 6.15pm start. Quiz ends by 7.45.
