Are you looking for Archivist jobs? Are you an experienced archival cataloguer? 

A prestigious university based in central London is seeking an Archivist to join their team on a 2 month contract initially to catalogue a large collection of materials in their archive. 

In this archivist job you will be responsible for basic collection level cataloguing of up to 40 historical collections and the editing and tidying of two existing but not yet published full length catalogues relating to films. You will be cataloguing using ISAD(G) and NCA Rules.  

To be successful in this archiving job you will need to be able to work independently and will have demonstrable experience of working as a cataloguer using ISAD(G) and NCA Rules. You will also need to be able to start as soon as possible at the archive which is based in Central London. You will ideally have some knowledge or interest in modern British history. 

You will be joining a friendly and welcoming team who are dedicated to providing an efficient archive service to its users. 

This role is paying £16.50 per hour.
