Dear Colleague

At Ulster University we are currently looking for expressions of interest from suitably qualified colleagues to apply for the joint post of External Examiner (Postgraduate Certificate in Higher Education Practice, accredited by the HEA at D1 and D2) and External Moderator the ENHANCE Professional Development & Recognition Scheme (accredited by the HEA at D1 to D4). The position is available from September 2016.

We are hoping to attract candidates who

·         have experience of external examining and/or delivering a similarly accredited Postgraduate Certificate;

·         have experience of running an internal CPD Scheme accredited by the HEA;

·         have experience of making HEA Fellowship decisions at all categories (D1-D4) through both written and dialogic routes;

·         hold Principal Fellowship of the HEA.

 

The role would normally involve two visits per annum to the University together with remote moderation of submissions and the production of annual reports for both the PgCHEP and ENHANCE PD&R Scheme. A fee is payable for each role.
