Inclusive Pedagogy for Widening Participation (Student-Generated Induction: A Social Identity Approach)

This workshop will cover the themes of Widening Participation and the concept of Student Generated induction. The workshop is hosted by Exeter University and will be delivered by Dr. Nick Bowskill.

Inclusive Pedagogy for Widening Participation - This area of the workshop will be looking at how a concept of inclusive pedagogy fits ideas to do with widening participation and will explore the ways in which diversity, inclusion and belonging might impact the re-design of current practice in the areas of learning, teaching and research.

Student-Generated Induction: A social Identity Approach – This aspect of the workshop will explore the concepts related to Student Generated Induction. This will address Students as Partners in the process of University Inductions; potentially achieved by breaking the concept down by college or discipline.
