Just a reminder that the London Mathematical Society is pleased to announce Gwyneth Stallard (Open University) as the 2016 Mary Cartwright Lecturer.

 

The lecture will take place at De Morgan House, 57-58 Russell Square, London, WC1B on Friday 26 February 2016 at 3.30 pm

 

Gwyneth Stallard will give a lecture on ‘Pits, gaps and spiders’ webs’.

 

Lasse Rempe-Gillen will give a supporting lecture on ‘Hairs, dreadlocks and Cantor bouquets’.

 

The lectures will be followed by a free wine reception.

The reception will be followed by a dinner at the Thistle Bloomsbury Park Hotel, at a cost of £35 per person, inclusive of wine. If you would like to attend the dinner, please contact Katy Henderson ([log in to unmask]) by Friday 19 February.
