Dear All Here at Royal Holloway we are looking at the ways in which we undertake reporting both about and for students on their engagement. We have had interest from academic departments and individual academics about ways in which we can support them as they advise their students. I know that there are a number of institutions already undertaking student engagement monitoring and I wondered if anyone would be able to help me by answering the following questions: 1. Do you have a student engagement report/dashboard? 2. Did you develop this in-house using existing software OR have you bought software to assist you in doing this? 3. If you purchased software, would you be able to share what software you purchased/considered? 4. Can students see the reports or are they for staff only? If staff only, do you have plans to allow students to view these reports? I would be very interested to find out more about the metrics you include to measure engagement if anyone is able to let me have some information on this too. Thank you very much in advance.
