This is an end of era time Chris. All the best for your retirement, no doubt I will be joining you soon. Perhaps you could reserve me a room in the retirement home for ex-archaeologists!
All the best

Hi,
Alice is not the only person to be departing the world of HERs this week. I’m retiring, and today is my final day in the office.
It’s seems like a long-long time since I began computerizing the HER (or SMR as it was then) in Stafford in the late 1980s. In that time I have come into contact with loads of people in the HER community many of who have been wonderful
colleagues. But allow be to single out a couple; Suzy and Helen, with whom it’s been a pleasure to work.
