Early Bird rate for attendance at the Business Archives Council conference 2015
This year's BAC conference - Hunter Gatherers: Collecting Today's Business Archives - will be held on Tuesday 10th November at The Prudential Assurance Company Building, 138-142 Holborn Bars, London EC1N 2NQ.
The special early bird rate for BAC members is only available until 30th September, so remember to book now if you want to take advantage of this sizeable discount.
How to book:
To book your place, please download and complete the form available from the BAC website and return it to us at the address provided on the form.
If you are not yet a member of the BAC and want to take advantage of the reduced rate for the conference go to the Membership page of the BAC website to find out how to join.

Bursaries for free attendance at the conference
The BAC are also offering five bursaries (covering the cost of the conference only) for aspiring new archives and records management professionals. The deadline for bursary applications is Tuesday 15th September.
Eligibility:
In order to apply, you:
- Do not need to be a member of the BAC
- Must not be in full-time employment
- Must be interested in pursuing a career in archives and records management
What the bursary means:
We will expect something in return for a bursary. There will be nothing too arduous and responsibilities will be assigned to you. To give some examples of the tasks you might be asked to carry out, past bursary winners have helped to document the day by tweeting, taking photographs, or writing a short article for the BAC newsletter.
Attending the conference will also be a fantastic chance for you to network and increase your profile in the sector. We will also make sure you have the opportunity to meet members of the BAC.
How to apply:
To apply for a bursary, please email [log in to unmask] with your details and a maximum of 200 words on your interest in Business Archives and why you merit a bursary.
Remember, the deadline for applications is Tuesday 15th September 2015. The successful applicants will be contacted before the end of September.
Please note that the bursaries will cover the cost of the conference fee only - bursary winners will still need to cover any travel costs to and from the conference.
