The Evidence Based Library and Information Practice Journal would like to
announce an opportunity to become a peer reviewer for the EBLIP Journal.



The role involves:



 Providing in-depth peer review of original research articles, evidence
summaries, classic evidence summaries, or review articles. The total number
of peer review requests will vary depending upon content submitted to the
journal, but reviewers, typically, are asked to review 2 to 4 submissions
per year.



 Contributing to the overall success of the journal by providing unbiased,
fair, and timely reviews of submissions that are assigned.



 Communicating with the Editorial Board about areas where the journal
could improve.



 Promoting EBLIP as an avenue of publication to colleagues.



The ideal candidate is a professional or researcher in the area of
librarianship and information practice and well-versed in evidence based
practice and research methods. Interested persons should send a statement
of interest, indicating areas of strength they would bring to the role, as
well as a brief resume to Dr. Lorie Kloda, Editor-in-Chief at

Peer reviewers for the journal follow detailed guidelines supplied by the
Editorial Board. The double-blind peer review process is managed through
the Online Journal System for notification, acceptance, and reviewers’
comments.



The deadline for individuals to indicate their interest is July 15, 2015.

Published quarterly by the University of Alberta, this peer reviewed, open
access journal is targeted at all library and information professionals
interested in an evidence based model of practice. By facilitating access
to library and information studies research via original research articles
and evidence summaries of relevant research from the library
literature, Evidence Based Library and Information Practice enables
information professionals to practice their profession in an evidence-based
manner.
