Hi Sarah I have altered the title of your e-mail as you will get more responses. As others have said the DVLA requires 2 hourly readings for insulin dependent drivers. For the non-insulin diabetics it will depend on how effectively their condition is controlled, individual assessment and if not considered safe a control measure such as regular blood monitoring may be necessary.
