The day will have a mix of speakers from a variety of backgrounds, and promises to engage and involve delegates in the current and future technological issues facing academic and research libraries.

13.30 JIBS dissertation prize presentation and overview by the winning student.
13.45  Virginia Power (University of the West of England graduate tutor & JISC Digital Collections Associate Consultant) “It’s good to talk: using technology to give EVERYONE a voice.” This interactive presentation will show how Virginia has used the Equality Act as a means of addressing inclusion within her Library services.
14.15 Scott Gibbens (JISC Collections Service Representative) “Historical Texts: Blending the old with the new – the challenges behind building a replacement for EEBO and ECCO”

15.15 Alex Collins (Anglia Ruskin Library) “E-Library Services – The Anglia Ruskin Approach.” How the team have integrated their various e-library services, providing seamless single sign-on and enhancing the student experience with Open Athens.

Non-members will be charged at our standard rate of £150 per person.
