Please find below some information about an upcoming conference in Plymouth with Ron Barnett as the keynote speaker. We’re really keen to include pedagogic research from across the UK, so do please consider submitting an abstract. The conference is aligned with the CRA event – also in Plymouth, so you can enjoy two days of great events and top it off with a weekend in Devon, enjoying the countryside and cream teas! Call for Abstracts - Deadline 30th January 2015 

 Key note speaker: Professor Ron Barnett (Institute of Education)

 

The Pedagogic Research Institute and Observatory (PedRIO) at Plymouth University is hosting its fourth annual one day conference in 2015.  Aimed at bringing together leading academics from across the UK and beyond, the conference will present: high quality papers; interactive workshops; show and tell sessions; and poster contributions.

 

The conference will be themed around six key areas and welcomes contributions based on research from across and between disciplines:

 

·                Education for sustainable development

·                Medical education

·                Masters level teaching

·                Spaces to think

·                Digital innovations

·                Inclusivity and student engagement

The PedRIO Annual Conference in 2015 will run alongside the Centre for Recording Achievement’s Fourth International Seminar on ‘Researching and Evaluating Recording Achievement, Personal Development Planning and e-Portfolio’, which takes place the on 16th - 17th April 2015.
