Vertex Modelling is a small team of very enthusiastic people who are committed to creating a high end product within a competitive market. Our offices are based on the Southbank of the river Thames very close to Waterloo station and are an exciting and lively place to work.



We have now filled in 2 positions and are currently looking for 2 more Junior Photogrammetrists / 3D Modellers to join our team. The role is an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic individuals to work within a cutting edge environment, creating a highly detailed and accurate 3D model of London. Candidates will need to have perfect stereo vision and demonstrate high levels of attention to detail. Ideally you will have experience within a remote sensing role or have undertaken a related GIS/Geographic subject at degree level or have previous 3D modelling experience; the right individual should have experience of or an interest in the following software packages; BAE systems SOCET SET v5.5, AutoCAD 2014, ESRI ArcGIS, 3D Studio MAX, Adobe Photoshop. This role is ideally suited to recent graduates who are willing to learn and are looking to gain experience within a young, dynamic company who are involved in many exciting projects across London.



The role is to help create a Wide Area 3D Model of London captured to a high level of detail utilising the highest resolution aerial imagery available. The models are available for resale to third party users such as architects, CGI studios, BIM consultancies or local authorities. Your main duty will be capturing and editing 3D data using BAE Systems SOCET SET software. Experience of using Photogrammetric software is advantageous and the ability to accurately view and measure images on a digital photogrammetric workstation is essential, but we will give full training and previous experience is not a requirement for the right candidate. Other work will include using CAD software to convert models for use within internal CAD department and for external clients.



We are looking to fill 2 more roles, both on a 12 month minimum contract, with a starting salary of £18-20,000 per annum pro rata. This will be a shift based role with working hours of 6.30am - 2.30pm and 2.30pm - 10.30pm. You will alternate between the early and late shifts on a weekly basis.
