Dear NMC members

As things have been quiet on the list recently (feedback on the Barbican
show or Tate talks is awaited) you are cordially invited to a one day
symposium next Saturday in Cambridge which celebrates the context,
connections and milieu within which Gustav Metzger, the first editor of
PAGE, newsletter of the Computer Arts Society worked in the 1960s.
Jonathan Benthall editor of the seminal Art and Technology columns in
Studio International in the late Sixties, makes a very rare appearance
along with Jasia Reichardt, Martin Kemp, Neal White, David Gale, John
Dunbar, Nigel Lesmoir-Gordon, Alice Bell and others. The event takes place
at the School of Engineering where Gustav gave his legendary lecture on The
Chemical Revolution in Art in 1965. Very much hope to see you there.
