It’s full of Heraldic goodness.  And, as it says on the website, it is ‘the official heraldic authority for England, Wales, Northern Ireland and much of the Commonwealth including Australia and New Zealand.’

I imagine it to be a little like Gringotts Bank inside.  But with more hatchments.  If anyone can sort out the Llewelyns, they surely are the people to go to.

By the way, unlike Essex, I am not armigerous but if I had a coat of arms, I’d like it to feature a penguin.

Essex Llewellyn Havard (yes, it really is my middle name)

Afternoon GEM people,

A little help if you will; I'm wondering if someone can point me in the right direction to look for a particular coat of arms.

I need to have a tabard made and I'd like it to have the correct coat of arms.  I'm looking for Llywelyn ap Gruffydd - Lord of Senghenydd, aka Llywelyn Bren, not Llywelyn the Last of Gwynedd.  Confused? There are lots of Llywelyns yng Nghymru.

If you know of a good place to start looking then please let me know.
