Hi Eleni – as always happy to talk further about the UKOER programme. Worth reminding all that it was a joint JISC/Higher Education Academy delivery of a HEFCE programme, and was configured as three one year investments, rather than one three-year programme. Would also be worth mentioning the HEFCE funding provided to the SCORE project at the Open University. I tried to locate figures and it seems a bit challenging, perhaps the effort to gather in one place governmental spending on OER would be a project on its own right. One of the chapters addresses the various facets of openness, including OER. My argument is around the governmental expenditure in OER projects and its significance in governmental agendas. I wish I had more data for other countries, but so far the European Open Data is fragmented. I have an approximate figure for the UK and aware of the the US for the $2 billion governmental funds granted for OER.
