The last 2012 issue was published a short while ago and the 2013 issues of LATISS are now in various stages of production and scheduled for release in close succession (6.1 in October, 6.2 in December, and 6.3 in February). We will then be fully back to schedule with the 2014 volume. This special issue just published focuses on how efforts to increase internationalisation of higher education go hand in hand with educational marketisation. It is the editors' intention that this special issue contributes to the recent attempts to reconsider the field of internationalisation on more social and ethical grounds. We thank you for your understanding during this publication delay - the articles published in this issue and in these next issues remain as timely as ever (please see below for the forthcoming tables of contents). Best wishes, Berghahn Journals, on behalf of Penny Welch and Susan Wright.
