The British School at Rome is seeking to appoint an experienced individual to the post of BSR Administrator. This position carries operational responsibility for day to day administration and for mid-range financial activities, together with the opportunity to work as a key team player in Britain’s leading humanities research institute abroad.
The British School at Rome is a centre of interdisciplinary research excellence in the Mediterranean supporting the full range of arts, humanities and social sciences.
Qualifications for the post include a good degree-level education, a track record of administrative and organisational experience, excellent people and interpersonal skills, a flair for operating complex systems, strong problem-solving, numeracy and communication skills, and experience of working in different countries, preferably including Italy.
The post will be expected to be on a full-time permanent Italian contract at level II of the Italian National Contract (approximately €25-30 k gross p.a.). The appointment will be made on the scale according to experience.
