This is an exciting opportunity for two enthusiastic and self motivated individuals to apply for our annual Archive/Records Assistant posts.
You will be a graduate or about to graduate and interested in pursuing a career in archives and/or records management, or intending to continue your studies on one of the post-graduate archive/records management courses. The position will start in June/July and will run for approximately one year. As this is a temporary post the individuals will be required to register with Unilever's preferred agency.
The nature of the work will be varied, involving cataloguing, answering enquiries, promotion of the service and inputting data into the archives and records management databases. Unilever’s archive dates back to 1292 and encompasses all areas of the global business. The cutting edge records management service provides both storage in Port Sunlight and support and training to our UK based customers. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their archives/records management skills in a supportive environment. Full training will be given in all aspects of the role. There may also be the opportunity to travel to other Unilever sites within the UK.
