The Horniman Museum and Gardens have places available on this one day training course. The day will be facilitated by ICON award winning photographic conservator Sarah Allen. We are running the same course on consecutive days.

 - Methods, materials
 - Practical demonstration

 11.45: Photographic processes & identification
 - Overview of main photographic material types - to be expanded upon 
 in practical session
 
 12.50 - 13.30: Lunch
 
 13.35: Practical session:
 Identification of Photographic Processes Gain experience in handling & 
 identifying processes & their problems using a group of pre-prepared 
 items
 
 14:35: Storage of photographic materials
 - Primary housing (methods and materials)
 - Secondary housing
 - Environment
 
 15:30: Finish
