italian-studies: Scholarly discussions in any field of Italian studies I am posting the message below on behalf of Dr Nick Hodgin, Lecturer in German Studies at Lancaster University. Ian Seed I've been trying to find some information about an Italian documentary filmmaker called Nino (sometimes Lino) del Fra and about a film he is said to have directed called 'Jeunesse Doree' (made some time before 1964). I came across this reference in a report on a test screening of an East German documentary film (with which del Fra's film was compared) and am eager to learn more. It's possible that the film was attributed to the wrong director or that the title was misremembered. From what little information I have found, del Fra was a filmmaker, Communist, sometime publisher. I would be grateful for any leads.
