Dear SEDA List members, The issue of doing a PhD by portfolio came up in some conversations with colleagues recently. I was wondering if any of you knew of any good resources which discuss doing a PhD by this route, including discussions on the typical requirements and skills involved. I would be particularly interested to hear about variants from the 'traditional' portfolio PhDs ( a series of academic journal articles) which might include portfolios containing elements of practice or non-academic media outputs. Alternatively if any of you know of any recognised experts in this area who might be able to advise I would be really grateful.
