Dear all,

 starting from yesterday the GOCDB is not reachable.

Yesterday RAL - the hosting computing centre of the main GOCDB instance - had a major electric failure that made most of the RAL services unreachable.

The failover instance, hosted by Fraunhofer.de<http://Fraunhofer.de> (https://goc.itwm.fraunhofer.de/portal/), in the past days had issues with the synchronization of the data from the main GOCDB instance. The data currently available in the failover instance is *not up to date*, and therefore the DNS entry "goc.egi.eu<http://goc.egi.eu/>" has not been switched to point to it.

 GOCDB team expects to have the service goc.egi.eu<http://goc.egi.eu/> back online by the end of the morning, using the main instance or the failover instance.
